When you meet Tenzin Yangchen, it’s easy to see the drive. What’s less obvious, but just as important, is the story behind it. Her path has never been linear, and maybe that’s what makes her presence at Consultive Strategy Group so strong. She doesn’t lead from theory. She leads from experience.

Born in bustling Delhi, raised in the hills of Dharamsala, and now building a career in the U.S., Tenzin’s global perspective quietly informs the way she works: focused, people-first, and always a few steps ahead. Her journey began in healthcare, with a plan to pursue dentistry. She obtained her license, shadowed professionals, and even visited a dental implant headquarters in Venice. It was all going according to plan until she realized it wasn’t her plan anymore.

“I just didn’t love the schooling process,” she admits. So she pivoted.

That pivot landed her in dental sales, where something clicked. Not only was she skilled at it, but she was also recognized as a top achiever from an early age. The thing is, Tenzin doesn’t talk about the numbers. She talks about people, mentorship, growth, and shared wins. That’s where her energy lives.

Currently, she’s mentoring two Executive Trainers of her own. The early mornings, the nerves before a big call, the satisfaction of helping someone else win—she’s been there, and that makes all the difference.

She credits her mother, above all, for her resilience. When her mom fled Tibet at 19 to escape political repression, it wasn’t just a border she crossed; it was a test of survival. Her mother endured three months through the Himalayan terrain, repeated detainment, and eating snow to survive. It’s the kind of story that doesn’t need embellishment; it simply grounds you.

So when Tenzin says, “Keep pushing yourself out of your comfort zone,” it isn’t just a motivational quote. It reflects a truth she and her loved ones have experienced firsthand.

Take public speaking, for example. This wasn’t something that came naturally to Tenzin and was the cause of some fear and anxiety. But instead of sidestepping the challenge, she leaned into it. She took workshops, practiced consistently, and learned to work with the nerves rather than against them. Even now, Saturday morning calls still bring a flutter of jitters, but she shows up anyway—because she knows that’s exactly where growth begins.

And despite all the drive, the metrics, the upward movement, when you ask her what she loves most about the company? It’s Thursday night team hangs.

“We push each other, but we also laugh. We know each other beyond work.”

That balance: intensity with warmth, ambition with empathy, is what makes Tenzin a leader worth watching. She’s not just climbing the ladder. She’s making sure the rungs are sturdy for the next person coming up at Consultive Strategy Group.
