At Consultive Strategy Group, growth stories like Matt Aluise’s show what’s possible when ambition meets opportunity. As one of our standout leaders, Matt has built a career defined by adaptability, teamwork, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed.

A Foundation of Growth

Matt was born and raised in Shaler, Pittsburgh, where he grew up dreaming of being a football player. Over time, his interests shifted toward business and leadership, guiding him to Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing. After graduation, he completed a two-year internship with Nike. The experience gave him valuable exposure to a professional environment, but he realized that opportunities for growth were limited, which led him to explore other paths.

When Matt discovered Consultive Strategy Group, he immediately connected with our company’s culture and career path. Mentorship from our owner Kristyn Shetty and guidance from Marcos Silveira helped him understand his potential and the opportunities ahead. With their support, Matt quickly established himself, earning a promotion to Assistant Director on July 30, 2024, a milestone that reflected both his determination and his ability to lead.

A Leader Who Leads by Connection

Matt’s greatest skill is networking, which naturally complements his team-oriented mindset. He focuses on building relationships and understanding what each individual needs to succeed, believing that strong connections are central to achieving results. Effective communication and transparency are cornerstones of his leadership approach, ensuring that team members feel supported and informed.

“At times, criticism can be hard to take, but I welcome it all because that is how we better ourselves.”

He also embraces feedback as a tool for improvement. This approach has helped him navigate challenges, including learning new campaigns independently and leading teams in unfamiliar markets.

Career Growth and Lessons Learned

Matt has worked across multiple campaigns in several markets, including Pittsburgh, Greensboro, and Charlotte. Each experience brought new lessons, allowing him to refine his leadership skills and adapt to different team dynamics. He’s proud to have found ways to succeed in all these markets, demonstrating both resilience and versatility.

He values Consultive Strategy Group’s ability to take individuals from any background, teach lifelong skills, and create pathways for generational wealth. Along the way, he has learned the importance of maintaining perspective and enjoying the work.

“A lesson I’ve learned is to not take the job too seriously. Have fun with it. The more fun you have, the better the outcome is going to be.”

Structured habits also support his performance, including morning workouts, personal development, and adhering to a consistent schedule, which help him remain focused and productive.

The Journey Forward

As Matt prepares to open his own office in Pittsburgh on January 1, 2026, he is focused on helping others recognize and seize the same opportunities he experienced. His short-term goal is to be promoted to Director by that date, with the long-term objective of becoming a Regional Director by 2027.

With his determination, focus, and commitment to building others up, Matt Aluise is not only preparing to lead his own office; he’s setting a standard for the next generation of leaders at Consultive Strategy Group.
