When you meet Steve Franck Djomo, his confidence, optimism, and drive are immediately apparent. At just 26 years old, Steve has already made a lasting impression at Consultive Strategy Group, where he started his career in February 2025. Originally from Dschang, a small town in the west region of Cameroon, Steve’s journey to the United States just two years ago is a testament to resilience and ambition.

Raised primarily by his grandmother—his “ride or die”—Steve credits her with instilling the values that continue to guide him: gratitude, perseverance, and hard work. Growing up as one of nine siblings, he learned early what it means to stay focused despite challenges. “All about me and my life is gratitude,” he says. “Every day is a blessing.”

Building a Foundation of Passion and Persistence

Steve’s educational journey began in Cameroon, where he earned a master’s degree in Marketing and Sales. Alongside his studies, he worked part-time to pay tuition and taught English at a linguistics center, an experience that strengthened both his communication skills and resilience.

His curiosity for culture and languages led him to speak six languages fluently, giving him a rare ability to connect across backgrounds. When he arrived in the U.S., Steve worked in several industries, including healthcare and hospitality, before finding his professional home at Consultive Strategy Group.

“I started as an Account Executive with no experience in the field and a bunch of debt on my name,” he recalls. “Seven months later, I lead a team of five and am preparing for my Team Lead promotion.” His story reflects what he describes as “active patience”—a mindset rooted in preparation, timing, and strategic decision-making.

Leadership Rooted in Communication and Connection

Steve’s approach to leadership is deeply influenced by mentors like Gandhi, John C. Maxwell, and his own mentor within our company, Kristyn. He believes that effective leadership stems from empathy, strong communication, and the ability to help others align with a shared vision. “A great leader is personable, an effective communicator, and helps people see their role in the bigger picture,” he explains.

He also understands the power of mindset. “Decision is power,” Steve says. “Instead of being scared of decision-making, you should be terrified of indecisiveness.” That clarity has allowed him to develop into a thoughtful, action-oriented leader whose impact reaches beyond just performance numbers.

Finding Purpose at Consultive Strategy Group

What Steve values most about Consultive Strategy Group is the culture of growth and togetherness. “If you spend half your day with people, the environment should encourage connection and development,” he says. “That’s what makes CSG special.”

He’s particularly proud of being recognized at the ELC Conference in Detroit, where he saw firsthand the influence of his work and the respect he’s earned across the organization. For Steve, success isn’t measured only in promotions but impact too.

“My greatest accomplishment is my mindset,” he shares. “The adversities I’ve faced turned me into a force that’s unstoppable.”As he looks toward his next goal, becoming the first African president within his organization, Steve continues to embody the core values that define Consultive Strategy Group: integrity, teamwork, and continuous growth.
